Why Is a Sleeping Pokemon Blocking the Path in Pokemon FireRed?

Why This Feels Confusing#

• It does not react to normal interaction

What Actually Happens#

This situation follows a fixed rule in the game.

• The Pokemon (Snorlax) remains in place until a specific condition is met
• You cannot pass through this path while it is sleeping
• No progress is lost while the path is blocked
• The path becomes accessible after you obtain the means to interact with it

This is a controlled delay in progression, not a permanent block.

And this is intentional. The game uses Snorlax to block access to later routes and redirect you toward other parts of the story before returning here.
