Can You Get More Than One TM39 Rock Tomb in Pokemon Emerald?

Why This Feels Uncertain#

TM39 is awarded after defeating the first Gym, which happens early in the game.

At this point, players often do not know:

• whether TMs can be obtained again later
• whether shops might sell the same move
• whether Gym rewards are unique or repeatable

The game does not clearly state that this TM is limited to one copy.

What Actually Happens#

In Pokemon Emerald:

• TM39 Rock Tomb is given after defeating the Rustboro Gym
• The Gym Leader gives it only once
• The event does not repeat if you return later
• Shops in the game do not provide additional copies of TM39

Because of this, the copy from the Gym is the only one normally available during a playthrough.
